TOOTHLESS!!!

Conner went to the Dentist on Tuesday to have the dentist look at his broken tooth. He decided to pull the tooth that was broke and while he was in there he pulled the one next to it. Conner of course was a stud muffin. He didn't cry once and when he was getting the shots, still didn't cry. He is my little tough guy. He loves not having any teeth down there. Plus he can't wait to put his teeth in his little pillow the dentist gave him and put in under his pillow for the tooth fairy to come. If we keep going the way my kids are going. The tooth fairy is going to be BROKE!!!

Labor Day Weekend!

We decided to drive to Sacramento California this weekend to go visit Curtis' grandma Stevens. We don't get to visit as often as we would like, but when we can we love to go out. She lives in a little farming town just outside Sacramento. She lives on approx. 200 acres. Her main crop is tomatoes, but she rotates so this year she had two fields of tomatoes and one field of wheat. The wheat was already harvested and they were harvesting the tomatoes while we were there. Plus we were able to bring home a box of her tomatoes. I am going to be so sad when there are all gone. The kids had a blast! Usually we come down and take a day to go somewhere like San Fransisco or last year we went to Six Flags Animal Kingdom. This year we decided to just stay and visit and relax. It was wonderful, even though I did do a lot of homework. Which I needed to do to get ahead so I don't drowned!! The kids loved going out into the field and running around and grandma has a big tree swing they played on. Plus she had a really cool game the kids remember from last time called coral the pigs. They played it like 100 times. LOL!!

Playing Coral the Pigs.

The tomato harvesters. Its amazing to watch the machines and how fast they harvest.

The boys playing on the swing and of course playing swords.

Earlier in the day grandma gave the boys a jar of change to split and take to Walmart to buy something. They bought these plastic bow and arrow sets. They spend the whole night and all the next day bird hunting in the field.

Avid bow hunter/Indian warrior.

Little POW WOW!
(barely being able to pull back the bow)

The boys sword fighting over the castles bridge!

This is my all time favorite picture. I saw this from inside the house and took the picture from inside the house. They were pretending to fish off the bridge. Precious!

Thanks Grandma Stevens for another memorable weekend.
Thank you for everything!
We Love You!

SCHOOL!! AAUUGGGHHH!!!!

So I have told a few of you, but it is really happening.
I AM GOING TO SCHOOL!!
I know I really thought I would not go back to school. Everyone I know that has returned to school, I think I could never do that. I hated high school, so why would I think I could make college work? Well after a lot of thinking and discussing with my husband. I realized what I thought I would really be happy doing. Is becoming a Elementary School Teacher. I have been volunteering at my kids school on a weekly basis. Even though I think it will be challenging at times, I know I would love it. I love to see when a child is making progress and you know its because of you. I love the getting to know each kid and them knowing you. I think I would do very well. But the down fall is going to school. I could do a quickie alternative way of getting a teaching cert. But I think it would be in my best interest to do it the long and correct way. So there is no reason I will not succeed. So as of right now I am a full time student at SLCC. When I get all my general education (plus I can take some of my teaching classes there) completed, I will be transferring to the U of U to finish my BA in Childhood Education. I plan on hitting it hard and hopefully finishing in 4 years if not sooner. Holy Hell just typing that makes my hands shake!!!
Everyone tells me it goes fast, but I start on Monday and I don't handle the unknown very well. As soon as I get started I think I will do OK. It's the getting started part that is driving me crazy. The first year I am taking a lot of online classes (since I still have Conner at home half of the day) and then the following year will be better. I will have all day!!
So wish me luck!
And if you see me and I look a little frazzled you will know why!!

Something You Never Want To Happen!!!

So I love you husband but I had to do it. Our youngest son has had a loose tooth for a while and Daddy asked him, "Do you want me to help you get it out? So the tooth fairy will come." Youngest son said "Yes!" So I was on the phone outside. My son came out and said I kinda have my first lost tooth. I said excitedly, Let me see!!! What I saw I Gasped!!!!

Holy S*%t!!! Is right.

Daddy had used pliers due to he could not get a good grip with with his fingers. When he got the pliers on and squeezed to get a hold on it. It shattered!!!! Of course mom freaked out!!!! Called the dentist at 9:00 pm. The dentist said not to worry that it will eventually fall out. We just have to watch and make sure it doesn't become abscessed. What a great experience for a kid to loose his first tooth!! I guess he will never forget it.

I think Daddy will never pull another sons tooth again!!! LOL!!!

GIRLS DAY OUT!!!

Saturday morning Shelly invited us girls to come pay 9 holes out at Talon Cove for FREE!!! Who could pass that up. Even in the poring rain. Well it didn't rain on the drive out, but as soon as we got out of the car to get ready. It started to poor!!!!! Everyone was laughing saying there's nothing like playing free golf in the rain. Well thank goodness is cleared up after the first hole and turned out to be a beautiful day. We had a lot of fun even if some of us (ME!!) played like crap!!!! Thanks Shelly for inviting me, I had a lot of fun.

Kim did Awesome so don't let this picture fool you.
We were on a tee box that was pretty much a lake. When she went to hit her ball her club hit the mud and instead of the ball flying. It went about an inch into the ground. I was just lucky enough to get a picture of this one. We had a pretty good laugh!!!

This picture doesn't do it justice, but her ball is under ground!! LOL!!!

Teri this goes to show you that I love you because if you noticed I did not put the picture I took of you on the toilet. But I still have it so I can use it for leverage!!! LOL!!

BAD ASS!!!

So on Wednesdays I volunteer for Coltins class. When I went into the office the office lady says. So Coltin ended up needing stitches. I said yes! She said well I heard Coltin was so brave. I started to laugh and I said what do you mean. She said well Coltin came in and said "Yeah I had to get stitches and it was LAME!! IT DIDN'T EVEN HURT!!!!!" I told her the real story and we had a good laugh!! He went back to school and told everyone it was no big deal. LOL!!!!
I WOULD HAVE TO SAY IT WAS A HUGE DEAL!!!!

STITCHES!!!

So Tuesday I got the dreaded phone call from the elementary school saying "Coltin got hurt and you need to come get him. I think he needs STITCHES!!" When I got to the school, Coltin was in the office (not crying). When we got in the car I said I think you need stitches.
ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!!!
He started crying and saying I DO NOT WANT STITCHES!!!
So we compromised and said we would have the doctor look and see if it was needed. When we got to the doctors he cleaned it out and put some ointment on it with a bandage and said come back in about 45 minutes! Then whispered to me that he would need stitches! I told Coltin that the doctor put some medicine on it so that when we come back he could get a better look at it. We went and got some ice cream, ran home, then came back to the doctors. Coltin was awesome until the doctor came in and undid the wrapped instruments to do the stitches. Coltin said what is that for? They put a drape over Coltins face and He started to SCREAM!!! (If any of you know Coltin well enough, you know how loud he is normally. Try when he is scared to death. I think he cleared the building!!!) It took 2 doctors, 2 nurses, and Curtis to hold him down. Meanwhile Coltin is screaming "GET OFF OF ME!!!, I CAN'T BREATH!!!!, I DON'T WANT STITCHES!!!" What am I doing you say. I am holding Conner who is freaking out because he thinks we are killing Coltin. Conner is crying with his fingers in his ears and saying to me. "MOM JUST LET HIM BREATH PLEASE!!" After the first two stitches were in the doctor is saying to Coltin calm down we already go the first 2 in and it is not even hurting. Coltin started to calm down after that. Then the doctor finished up and Curtis asked him. So was that the worse set of stitches you ever has to do. The doctor replied with, he is pretty close to the top. Afterwords I went to Coltin to say see you are ok. He had sweat drizzling down his face!!! WOW!!!
Here are some pictures!!

Coltin with the numbing cream on. Going to Coldstone to get ice cream.

Waiting for the doctor!!

After he calmed down a little, only Curtis is holding him right now.

All done 2 inside stitches, and 5 outside stitches!!!
So I forgot to tell you how this happened. I said Coltin how did this happen? He said I Fainted!! I said What?! He said a friend of mine was bugging me so I though if I pretended to faint he would leave me alone. So I closed my eyes and fell. I just happened to fall onto something. (a puzzle shelf). Curtis told him he needs to come up with a cooler story, that one is lame!!!!
After the doctor it was time for Karate. So off to karate we go!!! While I had my camera I though I would take some pictures.

Coltin fighting with his bow staff. If and when he followed directions he does soo good. Better than most kids in the class. Half the time he is being yelled at because he does what he wants when he wants. I know hard to believe!!!!
