All fun until someone breaks The POOL!!

So yesterday was warm and the kids were bugging us to get wet. So we filled up the pool with warm water (it was like a bathtub) and put it under the slide. It was a hit the kids were having a blast. Christa, Kim and I thought we could catch some rays. So we put some lawn chairs on the grass. Thinking we were far enough away that we weren't going to get wet. Well that didn't work. The kids (Emma) would come barreling down the slide and splashed water like 5 feet away. It was so funny to watch. All was going so well until one of the girls (either Emma or Samantha) we don't know for sure which one. Came down the slide and slammed into the side of the pool and blew out the edge of the pool!!! No more POOL!!! So I set up the sprinkler but that was cold water. That didn't last long. Well it was fun while it lasted. Now I have to find a new pool. Poor Coltin was at school when this all happened and when he came home and saw the pool in the garbage can he freaked!!! I had to explain what happened and promised to buy another pool. He said he was ok with it as long as we get a BIGGER POOL! What a smartalick! Anyways this was a preview at how fun summer is going to be! I can't wait!!!!

The Salt Lake City Half Marathon is OVER!!!!!

So Christa, Teri and I ran the Salt Lake City Half Marathon and thank God it is over. I was really hard and they changed the route this year to make it even harder!! Christa and I ran together the whole time which was good because I probably would have stopped. I got the worst stomach ache at mile 6 when I realized I had to go to the bathroom. Christa and I booked it though. We finished together at a finishing time of 1:53:40. Which I am soooo excited about because that is record time for both of us. Last time I ran the half marathon I did it on 2:02 and some odd seconds. I just wanted to be under the 2 hour mark. Which we killed it!!!! Teri was freaking awesome as well for never running that distance ever. She finished in 2:25 and some odd seconds. Which is great! I am really excited it is over and we have another year until we run that far again! RIGHT LADIES!!!! Anyways I am going to be corny for a moment and thank everyone who supported me and came to see me run. I am extremely grateful that I am even able to run. I think of all the people who can't and it makes me extremely blessed to know that I have a healthy body and I am able to do something I really enjoy!! THANK YOU Christa and Teri for letting me force you to run and train with me. You are great friends and I don't know what I would do without you! And I can't forget Mike (even though he won't read my blog. Maybe someone can tell him .) I really enjoy training and running races with you. So quit being such a stubborn a** and let your foot heal so that you can run next year and Lord willing try to beat ME!!! (LOL) Enough rambling. Enjoy some Pictures!!!

Britney Spears and PDC Concert!!

YES I WENT TO THE BRITNEY SPEARS AND PCD CONCERT!!!!

And I loved it!!! Teri, Jamie, and I went and had a blast! Even though Britney only actually sang 1 song (the rest she lip synced) The performances were good. She also looked pretty hot comparatively! Here are some pictures. (not all of them turned out great!)

EASTER @ THE BEE'S GAME!!

On Easter day we went to the Bee's game. It was sunny and warm and the most beautiful day ever. The Bee's won to make the day even better. Also I went with

some pretty "HOT" guys too!!!

The kids brought there gloves and tried to catch every foul ball. Even the ones that went on the other side of the ball park. It was fun!! They also loved playing with Bumble Bee!!!

LET"S GO OAKLAND A"S!!!!

Conner's first game was yesterday. We had no trouble getting there thank goodness! We were actually prepared this time. Got there a little early for the kids to practice. Had to get in an argument with the league board member who came to set up the pitching machine. Since he thought 5 yr olds should be pitched to at 40 mph. (Coltins team pitching machine is set up at 37 mph) Finally started the game. It was a little unorganized but Conner had a blast. He struck out the first time and hit it the second time. I got it on video and tried to download it to this post but for some reason it won't let me. Someday we are going to look back (of course when he's in the big leagues!) and see this is where it all started!! We are sooo proud of you CONNER!!!

Coltin's First Little League Game!!!

So last night Coltin was suppose to have a game at 5:00 pm. We just assumed that it would be canceled due to the field being muddy . (Since all the others have been canceled) I checked out our e-mail at about 3 pm. No info on game. So I went down stairs and kind of forgot all about it. Well about 4:30 pm I decided I better go check the e-mail and make sure the game is canceled. Well I got an e-mail that said the game will be held as scheduled. HOLY CRAP!!! Curtis (assistant coach) wasn't even home. I call him, he is going to meet us over there. I am scrambling to get Coltin in his uniform. We get there right as its starting. It is freezing but it was sooo much fun to watch them play. I was so proud of Coltin he didn't complain about the cold. He did exactly what he was suppose to do outfield. He played short stop the first half of the game and catched the last half. He was a great catcher. The only catcher to actually catch the ball as it came to him out of the machine. He only got up to bat twice. Hit one (got that one on video)and struck out the next.

His team killed the other team (10-0) Hurray!!!

BINGHAM BASEBALL!!!!

YEAH NO MORE T-BALL!!! Coltin and Conner this year started on there first little league baseball team. Coltin is playing on Pee-Wee American (Half yr machine pitch-Half yr kid pitch). Conner is playing on Pee-Wee World (All yr machine pitch). They have been practicing but on Saturday was suppose to be opening games. Well it had rain and snowed all last week so the fields were muddy, so all the games got canceled. I think all there games this week are going to be canceled as well. (Since its suppose to be snowing all week). Hopefully next week it will dry out so they can actually play!!

Conner's team mom went to all the players houses and decorated there doors with A's stickers and taped a packet of big league gum with a note that said WELCOME TO THE BIG LEAGUES! it was soo cute and Conner was so excited! (Coltin was sad since his team mom did nothing!!)

At Conner's practice on Friday evening he begged the coach to be the catcher. So he got all the gear on and argued that he wanted to use his own glove not the catchers mitt. After the first pitch stung his hand he agreed to the catchers mitt. After the 3rd or 4th pitch he got hit on the inner thigh. He said I am done catching and refuses to try again. Every time to talks about baseball. He informs you he never wants to be the catcher!

He sure looked cute in all the gear though he probably will never wear it again!!!
