My Poor Baby!

So I don't know if people know about this but I am putting it on my blog. (Curtis is going to kill me!!) Over the last couple of months Curtis has had a hurt foot. He thought he tore his Akilese tendon. He went to the doctor who referred him to a physical therapists, who didn't know what was wrong. Who then referred him to a foot doctor, who sent him to get an X-ray. After X-ray doctor sent him to get an MRI. After the MRI the foot doctor informed him that he has a tumor in his foot. In his Callcaneous bone (that is the bone in between his heel bone and his ankle bone.) We could see that it was the size of a quarter. Anyways the foot doctor was out of his league so he sent him to a orthopedic doctor at the new IMC. Which inform him that it looked like the tumor had been there for quite some time. But as it grew and as I forced Curtis to go to the gym and do circuit class. The tumor ended up being pinched in between his joint in his foot that allows him to bend and twist his ankle. Long story short Curtis had surgery yesterday (Monday June 29th) to have the tumor removed. They hollowed out the bone and tumor. Filled it back in with cadaver bone and his own bone marrow and patched him back up. The doctor sent the tumor to the lab to make sure it is not cancerous. Even though the doctor is 90% sure it is not. Wheew!! Anyways Curtis is doing well and is on the mends and can't wait to get off the couch!!!

Missing front tooth!!

Coltin came home from school today and decided to pullout his front tooth. It has been loose for a little while. It was pretty loose when Curt said I bet you can't pull out that tooth today! Oh yes he can! And he did! What a brave soul. I never pulled out not one of my teeth I was the biggest chicken in the world. I am happy he is sooo brave!!! He looks so big now!!

YELLOWSTONE!!!!

Last weekend we went to Yellowstone National park. We normally go every year and last year we did not go and we were sad about it. So this year we decided to go. Everything was booked full. So we did a spur of the moment and went anyways and stayed in West Yellowstone and Gardiner Montana. We had so much fun. It was a little chilly (65 degrees) and a little overcast but it was perfect. We saw 5 bears and lots more animals. The only thing we didn't see was the wolves. We even saw a moose! Didn't get a picture though. We had a great time and can't wait to go back next year. It's a cheap trip to get the kids out of the house and fun for us too!!!

We hiked to all the hot spots!!

We went to Wolf and Bear Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. They had the hugest bear and the coolest wolves. They gave the bears berries and elk meat. It was so cool to watch the bear search for there food. And then play with it.

The wolves were by far the coolest thing. The boys would run along the fence and the wolves would follow them. Some guy looked at us funny and said "You guys thing its funny that your kids are being chased by the wolves, like they want to eat them." Are you kidding. They are behind a fence and YES it's funny. Coltin was running back and forth saying" I am so yummy and delicious."

Rainy day at the ZOO!

Yesterday we decided to go to the ZOO!! Ok it was overcast and suppose to shower off and on, but we would man through it. Well after being there about a hour and half it was really coming down. So we decided to leave. We had a lot of fun while it lasted. We got to see almost all the animals, we just weren't able to go on the train and play on the playground. (boo hoo!)

Our Vegas trip was sooo much fun. We bought tickets for the Friday night show to "PEEPSHOW" staring Kelly Monaco and Mel B. I though the show was amazing. I could go see it again right now. Highlight of my trip. The girls were fabulous especially Kelly. Hello she can Call ME!!!

Ok so it was the wax museum. Pres. Obama was suppose to cost money to take pictures with, but the guy who was taking pictures was on break. So Curtis ran up and got this fabulous picture. Hilarious!!! That night we went to The Garden Arena in the MGM to see

FLEETWOOD MAC in concert. Which was so much fun.

I had the best trip ever! Thank you soo much to my husband who was so much fun and let me do whatever I wanted. Even went shopping with me for hours. I had the time of my life!!!

Haircuts (White Trash Style)

So last week before we left for Las Vegas, Curtis went out in the garage to shave his head. Conner says I want to have hair like you dad. Curtis thought he was joking but he wasn't. I thought why not it's summer! (Plus it's free!!!) So Curtis did it! I asked Coltin "Do you want to look like Dad?" He replied "NO!" I tried my hardest to talk him into it. (Since it's free!) He ended up talking me into a Mohawk!!! (Only until he goes back to school. He is off track right now.) So now my kids have White Trash Hair!!!
