Living Planet Aquarium!

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium for Conners preschool field trip! It was kind of a mess. They did not plan for so many people. We had to wait outside (in the snow) in a line just to pay. Then we had to wait for everyone to pay and meet to start the field trip. We got there at 11:15 and the field trip didn't even start til noon. Once it started it was fine. The kids had a blast running around. We will have to go back when it is not soooo crazy!!!

Coltin almost climbed in with the stingrays. Look at later pictures at how wet his shirt is. Then he kept pulling on it. His arm sleeve was twice as long when we left.

This is Coltins favorite thing there. Last time he came to the Aquarium with my dad they fed the Octopus right in front of him. He still hasn't stopped talking about it.

Yummy Yummy Cookie Dough!!

So this is really ghetto but I have to blog about it. When we were driving to go on our shoot on Saturday (JR and Kim were in our car.) There was a car in front of us with something on top of his car. As we got closer we realize it is the Yummy Cookie Dough from Papa Murphy's Pizza. We all were kinda laughing about what a idiot the guy was. Then the guy turned and the cookie dough fell off. So what does Curtis and JR do. They turn the car around and go get the cookie dough off the street. It was still in the container with the seal still in tacked. Yes we picked up cookie dough off the street that someone else had dropped off the hood of there car. We put it in our cooler. Coltin and Conner begged for it so we took it home. On Sunday night (Sorry JR and Kim!!) we cooked them up and ate them! How funny is that!!!!

SHOOTING!!!

So we went with the Rentmeisters on Saterday to go shoot some guns. I have tagged along alot but I have never actually shot a shotgun before. I have shot a rifle (and actually killed some deer before) but never a shotgun. So I thought I will try it. I did and I loved it. I actually hit some pigeons (ok like 6 out of 30). Anyways I think I might harass Curtis into getting me my own shotgun. Plus the kids came and shot Mark and Laura's kids gun that was a 22 and a 410. Coltin had a blast. Here are some pictures!

YEAH!! NO MORE TRAINING WHEELS!!!

So I guess Conner won't be 30 years old and still have training wheels on his bike! LOL! For a while there we really thought he might. Last fall we tried taking the training wheels off his old bike (which was a hand me down bike) and it was really a joke. He wouldn't even try. So we thought it would be cool for Santa to bring him his own new "COOL" bike. Thought it would get him excited to ride it without training wheels. So about a month ago we tried it again. As soon as Conner saw we took the training wheels off he started to cry and said he really liked his training wheels and he didn't even want to try. Poor Curtis wanted to choke him. So for a week either Curt or I would go out for like 10 minutes and just practice with him. Finally we gave up he was sooo terrified he would fall and hurt himself that he wouldn't even concentrate. So we said screw it and put his training wheels back on. I told him that he was going to be the only 30 yr old with training wheels still on his bike. So he started to be proud that he was going to be an adult and still have training wheels. He's not stubborn or anything! He even went over to a friends house and he took his bike and his friends laughed that he still had training wheels. It didn't even faze him. So on Tuesday we went over to the park (brought the bikes) for me to run and the kids to play. I had a thought!! Conner is so terrified of hurting himself. What if I have him ride Coltin's bike but all over the grass. So I asked him. Told him that if he fell it wouldn't hurt because he would fall on the grass. He was all over that and on the first try was up and riding all over the place. I was so excited hollering and yelling. (Sorry it was a little exciting for me.) We came home threw away his training wheels and he has been riding his bike everyday! He hasn't quite got the how you start and how you stop without almost bailing. But he is RIDING!!!!!

I HATE BLOGGING!!!!

I have decided I hate blogging!! Every time I go into my blog, add anything like a post or change my template. I screw something up or delete something I didn't want to. I decided to change my template since everyone changes theirs regularly. I find which one I want and change it. It deleted half of my gadgets. I go to put them back on and half of them I cant put back on or are no longer available. I see all my friends really cute blogs and I end up not wanting to do mine. I am sooooo frustrated with blogging. Can anyone give me advice as to where I can go to get good gadgets to put on or to make my blogging easier. Otherwise my blog is never going to get updated!!!! I never thought I was a computer idiot but I must be!!! HELP!!! ANYONE!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

On Wednesday we went to Christa's house to make Valentine's cookies. (Christa is the nice mother who does these messy fun things!!!) We let the kids decorate the cookies by themselves. It was a lot of F U N!!! Thanks Christa for doing all the work and all the clean up!

The Phlebotomist from HELL!!!!

So I went to the doctor on Tuesday to have some blood work done and I felt like the Phlebotomist raped my arm. I tried taking pictures but it didn't do the damage justice. First of all I waited in the waiting room for 25 minutes. Just to see the doctor to say here is the order form for the Lab. Then I go out to the front desk and give the paperwork to the secretary. She tried telling me the Lab guy was in a meeting and I would have to come back. (By the way I was having blood work for my Thyroid and could not eat all day. So I was Starving!!!) I almost lost it right there on the secretary. Then they say I guess we can have a nurse do it. I wait another 15 minutes then this guy calls me back. He apologizes for taking so long his meeting ran late. So I guess the nurse couldn't do it after all. So he sits me down asks which arm. I pull my sleeve on my left arm up. He ties the big rubber band around my arm. Grabs the needle and gabs it all the way in my arm. ALL THE WAY!!!! I have never ever seen that happen before let alone had it happen to me! I swore it went in almost 2 inches. Then he puts the first tube in to start filling up and no blood is coming out. So he starts to pull the needle out slowly. STILL NO BLOOD! So what does the jerk do. He jabs it around in my arm like a maniac! It was the first time ever I have had blood taken that I was in severe pain. FINALLY blood starts coming out. He looks up at me and says "Are you OK?" I must of had the I am going to kill you look on my face. I say I guess!! By the time all the stupid tubes are full there is blood drizzling down my arm from the needle area. He pulls the needle out. Puts a cotton ball on my arm and puts two pieces of tape on my arm. The tape was so tight I though it would cut the circulation off. When I left I was so pist. Then I woke up the next morning to a baseball size bruise on my arm. I can't wait to go in and get my results so I can fill in to the doctor what a A-HOLE his Phlebotomist is!!!!!!
