SLEDDING!!!

We went down the street to a small hill and went sledding!

It was a blast.

It was a small enough hill that worry wart mom didn't have to worry about them killing themselves, but a big enough hill that the kids could get some major speed!!

Conner could barely make it up the hill.

He could use the exercise. LOL!

Coltin could do this all day and all night!

Dad was happy to be there, can't you tell!

My oldest is "8" years old! (Holy Crap)

On Monday December 28th, Coltin turned 8 years old.

He got a skateboard, helmet, and a mini ramp for his mini skateboards!

Then we went and seen The Chipmunk's - The Sweakwal!

My mom, my grandma, my sister, my nieces, and Christa and family came too!

It was packed but it turned out OK and Coltin had a blast!

He plans on having his friend bday party in Jan. at Classic Skating!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas morning turned out better than Christmas Eve!

We had to wake up our kids! (I know life is rough, also it was 8:00)

Coltin and Conner got a WII Star Wars game,

that came with the light sabers from my dad.

They loved them!

Cali got a hunting duck and she has been playing with it ever since.

Christmas Eve!

We went to my Grandma Larsen's for Christmas Eve for dinner.

It was great my grandma got a scrabble game from my dad and Patricia.

So Curtis, my grandma and I played scrabble. It was so much fun.

Then we went home and like every year we opened our Christmas pajamas and went downstairs to watch The Polar Express! When the show was over we came upstairs to go to bed and I told the boys get in front of the tree for a picture. I could not get both boys to look at me.

So it took a couple of tries, by the time we were through it was a nightmare.

Coltin was hugging to tight, Conner didn't like it so Conner headbutted Coltin.

Gingerbread House and Train!

The plan this year was to make our gingerbread house's from scratch.

Well that obviously didn't pan out.

I ended up buying a house and a train.

Curtis and Coltin built the house, while Conner and I built the train.

Curtis you did such a great job.

Conner did most of the decorating!

Then they ate it!!

After we all cleaned up, Conner was still up at the counter eating!

I am writing this post 2 days later and the house and train are almost gone!

He did enjoy eating every bit of it though!

Christmas Party!

WOW, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT IS ALMOST CHRISTMAS!

We had our first Christmas Party (Larsen's) it was great! Normally it is a horrible snowy day and we always have to drive down South (1 1/2 drive) in a blizzard. This year it was snowing but not bad. Halaluya!

We went of to my friends house to trick or treat and to hang out. It was a lot of fun!

Steve dressed up as the chainsaw man and scared the crap out of all the little kids. Conner was the most scared, it was hilarious!!

HALLOWEEN "EARLY" MORNING!!!

I got up at 5:00 a.m. on Halloween morning to drive 40 minutes up Provo Canyon to the top of Sundance to run a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) in 30 degrees weather.

It was a blast (not serious!)

I at least got a metal!

When we came out of Sundance and were running down the Provo Canyon walkway it was foggy and runners were running by me with frost in their hair (now that is good times!)

Of course my very supportive husband and two wonderful children were at the finish line.

Colt and Conner ran across the finish line with me!

I don't look so hot but it was an accomplishment and even though it was hard.
I am proud that I did it!!
(Even though I can barely walk today!)

PUMPKIN CARVING!!

Carving pumpkins on Friday night before Halloween was a lot of fun. I told the kids we were not going to carve pumpkins again if they didn't help (normally Curt and I carve 4 pumpkins) So both kids helped.

Conner didn't even throw up this year! LOL!
