LEGOLAND

Day #5

The kids were sooo excited for this day.

They had never been here and at home they are so into Lego's.

They saved all their Christmas money, B-day money, and chore money

to spend it all here.

We left with 5 large bags full of Lego.

These we in the parking lot. Too Funny!

Finally!!!!

The kids love posing with all the Lego's.

Since this was New Years Eve.

They had a New York Celebration.

It included the ball drop, fireworks, and all sorts of street characters.

The best part was it all took place at 6:30 p.m.

So then we had time to go back to the hotel,

have a drink, and soak in the hot tub.

Which was our every night ritual.

WILD ANIMAL KINGDOM

Day #4

This is one of my favorite places.

When we were there they had 5 brand new babies.

I love Gorilla's they are so funny to watch.

Look closely right in front of the lion is a white rabbit.

He just found it in a box that he destroyed.

Then ate it right in front of us. Yummy!

Day #3

This was the day for the "Rain"

It rained the whole day,

but the shows still played so it turned out OK.

We rode on Atlantis as a family. Coltin wanted to go again.

We had to beg Conner to go. He was scared but finally went!

You can't see their faces very good, but

if you could you would be laughing!!

I had to take this picture.

I have the same picture, on the same stoop,

as the last time we were there.

Of course the sharks were Coltin's favorite part.

Then Conner made Coltin ride all the baby rides. LOL!

Happy Birthday Coltin

For Coltin's B-day we let him chose an excursion.

He chose "The Backstage Pass" at San Diego Zoo.

Which got up up close and personal with lots of animals.

(Don't ask what all the names of these animals are.

Because I forgot :)

We got to pet, feed, and brush the Rhino's.

We got to pet and learn all about Emu's.

The wolf would howl on cue it was soooo cool.

(I have it on video but of course it wouldn't upload.)

The reason Coltin picked this is you got to take your picture with a Cheetah.

Which is Coltin's favorite animal.

Couldn't get too close but close enough. Right?

Coltin was in Heaven.

The Cheetah lives with this dog.

The Cheetah actually thinks he is a dog. LOL!
